Just my opinion…in no particular order

Based on a Van Gogh painting. This was one of my early paintings from 2018. I started painting and taking on-line lessons in Feb 2018 after I retired from UOP. This was a Ginger Cook tutorial as part of my academy membership.

Baseball season. We have been Cubs fans for many, many years since moving to Chicago. We have even gone to Cubs Spring training games in Mesa, Arizona. This is a circa 2020 painting

Running through a field of flowers. I was feeling the need for something spring when I painted this. Circa 2022.

Based on a photo I took of our oldest Grand-daughter contemplating the leaves in her front yard as we were raking up the “dreaded” leaves. I was very pleased with how this turned out. Circa 2020.

“When I am old”… I loved this poem by Jenny Joseph. So when I found a Ginger Cook tutorial that I felt would fit this poem, I had to paint it. Circa 2023.

The Jazz Player. This tutorial caught my attention. I loved the shadows, the smokiness, and the multi-colored jacket. This was during a 12 month period where 14 of the 26 paintings I did had people in them. Circa 2023.

Downhill skier:

I think this painting summed up 2023: Serenity with Chaos zooming thru. 😂. But then again I feel most years are like that-a mixture of both.

One of my favorite

Skiing home (circa 2022). This has to be one of my all time favorites. I love how the colors came out. This was in my first ever calendar of my paintings released in November of 2022.
